Coaching our kids with Aspergers Reading Iqbal grade English

Reading Iqbal - grade 10 English worksheets. Shane is reading the novel, Iqbal, for English, and I've made up some worksheets. The book is "Iqbal" by Francesco D'Adamo. Here are 3 types of questions prepared, depending on your child's learning style: auditory , visual , or kinesthetic . ......your almost-3 year old asks you for "homework" like her older brother has, and you hand her a 1st grade math work book and a crayon and tell her she can draw in that. When you look up ... "My frontal lobe is the part of my brain that does the thinking, and the occipital lobe is good at visualization. I Spy helps my visual skills get stronger. And this explanation proves my frontal lobe is stronger." ...When I read the worksheet, I thought about near-doubles that aren't so easy, like 121 and 122. Quick! Add those together. I can't remember how I was taught basic arithmetic way back in the first grades, but I don't think it was this way. I don't think they used fancy visualisation methods back then. Do you understand my firstgrade childs homework Boing Boing

I think the exercise is to teach kids "base 10" and help them visualize adding numbers across the great abyss of double digits. So to visualize adding 8 + 3 in the first one, I would write the numbers 1 and 2 in the top block of the grid to complete the first 10 block, ...... I find it interesting that the editorial remarks in favor of this worksheet seem to come from confessed math-types who litter their fanmail with obtuse praise written at the 4th grade level. ...Randy Krum from Cool Infographics put together a basic worksheet in Excel for me to illustrate the first idea about grades and a seating chart. ... I think that reorganizing the gradebook helps in some ways--- but at the end of the day, you're still staring at a bunch of numbers. It's the same visualization problem. This is why I'm hoping that the use of color and graphics can be interfaced with grades to produce better meaning. ...

No, I was going for a guy with a childish sense of humor. My dad watches Looney Tunes, but Family Guy is not what my dad would watch. You clearly love the Simpsons if you like Family guy, I mean unless you don't like the Fat, drunk, lazy, sports loving, dad who hangs out at a bar with his 3 friends (one black, one white, and one disabled). Who am I talking about? Homer or Peter? Both, because Peter is a huge copy of Homer, Hank Hill, and Fred Flintstone.
